Essence Pure NUDE Makeup foundation REVIEW + SWATCHES

Essence Pure Nude Make-Up foundation
Dear Beauties,
I have just recently opened my Essence Pure Nude make-up after keeping it for 2 years! I really like this foundation! It is not only natural looking, i find it very long lasting! It took me about 6 hours of wear before i see any oilyness in my skin! Most of my other foundations start to break apart with my oils within about 3 hours. This is a major breakthrough! The only con is that it is quite a light coverage, takes me about 2 layers to be medium coverage.

Very liquidy  consistency

It is definitely buildable and very easy to blend out! I really think this colour is a good match to me, although I typically use porcelain or light ivory colours-- This is all thanks to its natural sheer coverage that helps me wear it nicely even though it was quite dark for my skin tone.

I really love it soooo much! I think they discontinued this series, and replaced it with the "18 hour wear foundation", the one with a similar tube packaging as this! Yes! I believe it is really a 18 hour wear even for this PURE NUDE one as I once tried wearing it from 8am to 10pm which is already 14 hours! Its a fantastic foundation. If indeed it is the same as the "18 hour" one, please go grab it!

It leaves a slight tacky feeling after put on, do powder it a bit before heading out!

Revlon PhotoReady Face Primer REVIEW

Dear Beauties!
I have a product that I have been using for the PAST 4 Years(2 bottles over 4 years), and I am nearing the end of the 2nd bottle, so I decided to do a very experienced review on it since I have used it over 4 years already

As you can see in my past photos, I have really bad skin, so I preferred to do less skin related posts. Now my skin condition is better after going back to my ARTISTRY skin care routine (See my past blog posts on ARTISTRY), I finally am ready to talk about this primer!

Revlon PhotoReady Primer
I had 2 kinds, one in the Lavender shade as shown in the picture, and another one in Nude. I finished the bottle in nude and am nearing the end of this lavender bottle.

I personally think that this primer is NOT FANTASTIC. When i bought it 4 years ago, each bottle was $39.90. Now, when i go and check them out at Guardian, their selling price is $29.90! This tells me that the demand for this is getting low! As you can see, a lot of the product at the nozel is because of its CRUSTATION. Since it is silicon based, every single time i use it, there will be a build up of hard silicon product at the beginning of the pump because it has hardened at the tip. Its such a waste of my product as I have to wipe off the hardened part before it goes to the cream part. The cream part is just quite smooth and silicony.

It applies transparent to the skin after smearing out, and has minimal smell. I really think it is not worth my money to buy again. I would rather test out other brands' primer. The pros is that my make up DOES LAST LONGER with this primer than without, in the sense that I get less oily when I have this primer on.

Daiso Face Foundation Powders REVIEW

Dear Beauties!
Check out the new powders at Daiso! I recently picked up the ELLEFAR foundation powders from Daiso at Plaza Singapura and have tested them out!
Ellefar foundation
As you can see, I have not opened the packaging for the lighter colour because I have so many powders in my stash that I am still using. However, I have used the darker one. The colours are : Ecru(left) and Light Beige(Right)

I am fair skinned, so i actually bought the Ecru one for a blush. However, it is not pigmented enough to be a blush or bronzer! So i usually pack it on my cheeks to give some enhancement before i use my real blush colours. Technically, these foundations are not very pigmented if intended for blushes, but is okay as a light coverage foundation.

I will still try to finish it up although it has not much impact on my skin, but here is what i looks like, together with my pink blush
Note: Picture is taken with front camera of SAMSUNG S7
As you can see, my camera is not very clear because i am using a front camera to take pictures of myself.

You be the judge of the item :) I still like this product because it does not emphasize my pores and gives my skin a smooth feeling

Price: 2 dollars(DAISO SINGAPORE)

Korea Daiso Makeup Overview!

Korea Daiso Makeup Haul
Dear Beauties!
My relatives just came back from Korea and this is the haul they got from me from Korea Daiso! I am sure you cannot get these anywhere else in other countries because Korea Daiso is distinct from other countries' Daiso. Daiso Korea is separate from Daiso Japan after some sort of a quarrel, so these makeup are only exclusive to Korea! I am so happy to finally get my hands on them!

These are the 0720 range more directed towards Korea school girl makeup.

Each product feels super luxurious, the texture like those of Etude House, Innisfree and Skin food! But the prices of each product is really relatively much cheaper!

I will be testing these products out in future months, keep a look up for update posts! Take a look at each close up pictures below, and the prices will be listed against the picture. Please note that I have bought repeated products so I will only show one of each item.

Brown mascara- 2000won

CC cream--3000 won

Orange sherbet blush-2000 won

BB cushion-5000 won
Surprisingly, the bb cushion sponge is really soft and chubby! Every packaging feels heavy and dense and i have high hopes for them! I am really excited to use them!

Stay tuned for upcoming posts as I use them (I have many other products still in line to be used before these, please be patient :)   )

Daiso Makeup: Multi-Cheek Blush REVIEW

Hi all
I have been using these blushes for a long time, and in particular, the orange one. I love it so much, that i went back to Daiso and got a 2nd colour yesterday!

Left: Beige, Right: Orange
The colours are listed in the captions. I got the Beige one yesterday, but I own the Orange one for 2 years already. I love it so much as an eyeshadow! I have not been actively using it as a blush for a long time because i tend to veer towards brighter colours. But it works ok as an eyeshadow, we just need some patience in building up the colour!

I can't wait to try the Beige colour on my face!
Below are some hand swatches on DRY skin. It will definitely show up better on skin with foundation or primed eyelids!

Top: beige, bottom: orange

ALIEXPRESS MAKEUP: Miss Rose Waterproof Matte Lipsticks SWATCHES + REVIEW

Hi All!
Its been a while! I have tried many many makeups last year and this year but I just did not find the time to take pictures to upload and discuss about it. Please be patient while i upload more interesting reviews!

Recently, I have been interested in trying budget makeup that are even cheaper than Essence! I realised that because I am really on a budget, maybe trying Aliexpress and Taobao makeup might not be too bad after all--- That is, if I do not get any allergy. If you never try, you never know

After reading some reviews, I decided to buy these 3 colours first from this line: Miss Rose Waterproof Matte Lipsticks. The 3 colours are : Viper(53), Orchid(33) and Belle(31).

My favourite is Viper!!! At first i was very unhappy because the colour is much deeper than what was shown on the website! However, after trying it on my face, it made me look so pretty!

53-Viper

31-Belle

33-Orchid

On the website, only Belle looked true to colour. Orchid and Viper both looked darker than expected. However, all the colours are SUPER FANTASTIC and pigmented! It is a non drying matte lipstick and feels ultra long wearing as well. I feel literally nothing on my lips and I don't feel threatened by the ingredients because I have no side effects from them. The boxes(lipstick boxes) even have the date of expiry and ingredients listed on them! See the items below:

To me, these are value for money! Each approx USD $0.99 to 1.17 only! Just look for the cheapest listing on Aliexpress!(They do fluctuate from time to time)

I will continue to buy more from them because I am curious of more colours! Do check them out if you are keen.

My ratings are: 5/5
