Catrice Professional Makeup Techniques Face Palette

Hi Beauties!
Today I will be showing you some swatches from the palette: Catrice Professional Makeup Techniques Face Palette

This palette consists of 6 powders and 2 creams. It comes with a big mirror too! This palette has a bunch of unexpected twists
Catrice Cosmetics Professional Makeup Techniques

Catrice Cosmetics Professional Makeup Techniques

The left side 6 are all powdered products while the most right column are 2 cream products. The most left columns have 2 browns, i think they are good for contouring and also bronzing. The pink is a blush, and the one below the pink is likely a bronzy highlighting blush (it says on the info sheet). To me, the blush highlighter is also very nice as an eyeshadow.

The 3rd from top left is a light cream shade which is matte, it doesn't show up at all on my swatch, since it is meant as a powder (it writes on the info sheet). The top right is a cream concealer, it is quite oily, but i think after you wipe away the top layer of oil, it should work fine. Its not as pigmented as their other concealers though.

The bottom most right is some silvery oily highlighter. It gives the face a wet look which is really pretty! I am quite drawn to "Wet look" highlighters recently.

Here are the names of what each of these are supposed to do on your face.

I have not tried this palette out on my face yet, will update with pictures once i do get to it!

Summer 2017/2018 Essence and Catrice Collection!

Hi Beauties!
In my upcoming posts, I will share with you some of the products that Essence and Catrice Singapore sent to me for my feedback! This is not a sponsored post, I only asked them for some products for me to review!

Right now I will give a short overview of this brand. It was established in Europe in around year 2003, but brough into Singapore since 2011. I have been very supportive of their brand since 2012! I love their makeup and most of them are made in Europe! Nothing dubious like those made in China. Some famous brands you find in Sephora even have their makeup made in China which is a total turn off for me. This brand however, is so value for money!

Most of the things in Essence line is approx $5.90, while the average price of Catrice is leaning around $7.90 based on my purchase experiences. I've also shared in a previous post that they do WAREHOUSE sales with prices even as low as $1 ! You can't beat that. Support them and they will support you back.

A few weeks ago, they have kindly sent me these products below:
Summer 2017/2018 Collection
I have already reviewed some of the products below in previous posts and hence will not be describing them again in following posts. I have not opened the 2 lipliners and one eyeliner so I will be reviewing them when I do get around to opening them.

Stay tuned to my upcoming detailed posts on these products! PS: I will also follow by reviewing items I bought last year and this year which i have not yet reviewed

Stay pretty!
Have a good week ahead!

Essence Winter Glow cushion powder lipstick

Hi Beauties!

Here is the first review on today's loot at their warehouse sale!

It is their old limited edition WINTER GLOW cushion powder lipstick. I have a vague memory of swatching it at Guardian long time ago and not buying despite very drawn to the colours. I just think that its powdery and may go into my throat haha.

Today, seeing that the sale is 3 for $1, i knew it was a great chance for me to get it finally. See some pictures below before I describe further about this product!
I bought 4 of them, 2 of each colour : 01 Melt my lips ; 02 Winter kissed
The cute Essence duck was a free gift from today's sale!

01 Melt my lips
The picture above shows how the product inside looks like, it looks to me like a compressed lipstick. The sponge side has a spring to bounce the sponge up and down inside the cap to tap more product.
01 Melt my lips

01 Melt my lips
My thoughts of the product: I think the product feels like nothing on my lips. Since my lips are soooo dry, it cannot really stick on my lips. I took about 10 swipes to get it on my lips. In other words, if your lips are really dry, you may really need a lip primer or you need some foundation on your mouth to get more of the product to stick better.

The good side is: it feels powdery, my hair doesn't stick to my lipstick at all which is awesome!!!

01 Melt my lips

On the other hand, it sticks soooo well to my skin!!!! It only took one swipe to get it to stick onto my skin. Not sure why so, maybe because skin has more oils and moisture than my chapped lips?

Also, after rubbing hard and bathing, it still stayed so prominently on my hands! Check out the picture below:

After rubbing on tissue, and bathing

I don't regret getting this product, I believe it will work better on my lips when i have less chapped lips!

To those still interested in this product, go grab yours before the sale is over!
PS: I will also test out the 2nd colour on this same post when i open it. Stay tuned!

Rating: 4/5
Price before discount: $5.90 (it could be $4.90, i not too sure coz this was from a few seasons ago)

3 for $1 Massive Essence and Catrice cosmetics sale!

Hi beauties!

I'm soooooo excited to let all of you know of the sales because its between 30th Oct to 3rd Nov and I want you all to get the goodies as fast as you can!

I have looted quite a few items today, not as much as I would have expected because i already have almost all the products there

Here are some pictures

The lowest priced items are at 3 for $1 while the highest priced was $8. As you can see, most of these products are super affordable! I have looted 19 items and the rest are free gifts, picture shown below

I bought 18 of the 3 for $1 while 1 of the $1 each item. This is the biggest sale I have been to. Do good to them, they do good to you. This is a blessing i have got from being such a big fan for Cosnova over these 7 years! In another post later i have a review on the first product of this loot. Apologies on delay over past loots, i have not reviewed them because i have not opened them lols. This one is way too exciting not to open immediately.

I want to put up a disclaimer: Some of the make up have expiry dates thats very close. However, most of the manufacturing dates are in year 2017 so its fine.

I love their brand so much and I hope you found this post useful!

Bye for now Beauties!

ARTISTRY SUNBLOCK Reviews

HI beauties!
I have another ARTISTRY skin care product to introduce!
This is the IDEAL RADIANCE Sunscreen from Artistry!
ARTISTRY Sunblock
This bottle is quite small, of about 30ml and is very expensive. However, I bought it over and over again about 5 bottles in now. It took me more than 4 mths to finish 1 bottle as it is extremely thin yet very high coverage. The SPF is 50++ for both UVA and UVB protection which is super fantastic! Furthermore, it is NON OILY and NON STICKY! It feels like powder after it dries which is INSANE!
ARTISTRY SUNBLOCK is extremely thin but goes a long way

When i was still studying, I do not put any makeup and this is the only product on top of my moisturiser and when i touch my skin, it feels smooth and non tacky. It also does not make me itchy or cause any breakouts.

100% sure its the best sunblock in my life! You can find any MLM distributors to get any ARTISTRY or AMWAY products. My sister is a distributor, you may email my email for further enquiries also

I SWEAR BY ARTISTRY products and will always support them! Im thinking of using their cosmetics when i get pregnant in future as they are really safe with little to no chemicals at all

Price: SGD$ 78++ (forgot)

Artistry : Ideal Radiance and Hydra V review

Hi Beauties!
Its been a while since i last reviewed some artistry products! I have been using Artistry products for atleast 6 years and they literally cleared me of my pimple issues(except last year when i only used them for some short periods)! Recently Im using 2 Artistry items in my regular routine as shown below

ARTISTRY HYDRA V ; IDEAL RADIANCE

ARTISTRY SKIN CARE
I have been using the Hydra V toner after i wash my face everyday. This toner is under Hydra V series because it is meant to lock in moisture in your face. It is non oily, non sticky and dries on my skin very fast. Next is the Ideal Radiance Serum which is meant to lighten my skin and also my sun spots. I have been getting a lot of compliments about being very fair, and the reason why i got so fair is because of this item!

Whats the difference between the Hydra V toner and Ideal Radiance toner (not shown here), I believe, the difference is only the price. The Ideal radiance series are typically more expensive. Ideal radiance serum and moisturizer are really good and makes me fairer (probably aids both in moisture and fairness). Hydra V only aids in improving moisture level.

Its a clear gel
The Ideal radiance serum is a translucent clear gel and is NOT OILY at all! Fantastic! Does not cause me any pimples at all, and in fact it improved my skin condition a lot. I cannot do without this.

Lastly, these are all made from botanical extracts from their own farms in many parts of the world in making health supplements(NUTRILITE) and skincare (ARTISTRY); and all made in USA. I really trust their products. My friend even ate off their single bullet lipstick and is fine.

These are my honest reviews, hope you find it useful!

In Singapore, you can only buy them through MLM people. My sister sells these and hence I have the advantage of using them at a cheaper rate.
Retail Price for Toner = $50
Retail Price for Serum= $89

AOA cosmetics : AMUSE COSMETICS diamond gloss review and swatches!

Amuse cosmetics lipgloss
AMUSE COSMETICS diamond gloss
Hi beauties!
Today i am review the first item i used from the Shop Miss A haul! I am currently using the AMUSE cosmetics diamond gloss! I actually QUITE LIKE IT! The smell is wonderful, it smells exactly like the nyx butter lipglosses, those vanilla pancake smell. Next, the colour is really glittery, but not gritty! The glitters are really small and reflective. My only complain is that the applicator is really small! Its so small i had to dip in 5 times to get enough gloss on my lips for the pictures below! See how good it looks!

Amuse cosmetics diamond gloss : Barbie

Although the colour payoff wasn;t that great, but the glitter is really quite amazing. The shade I got it in is called " Barbie". I thought it will be a pigmented gloss but apparently, not very. However, I don't really expect diamond glosses to be very pigmented anyway, or else the pigments may shade away the intensity of the glitters, so i have no complaints about the pigmentation. I also LOVE that the gloss is slightly sticky, which is almost like the victoria secret lipgloss! These kind of sticky glosses are those that will be more glossy and stays on longer. I really like that

Maybelline SuperStay Matte Lipstick review

Maybelline SuperStay Matte Lipstick
Dear beauties!

I have bought this lipstick from Guardian even on the first week of release in Singapore! I have been using it for some time now and I have thoughts about it!

First of all, the colour range that came to Singapore I believe it was only the first set of colours Maybelline released, not the NUDE series that they released this year. I am QUITE DISAPPOINTED because non of the colours are what i liked, such as pinky corals that are not very pastel.

This particular shade I bought is called  10: Dreamer. This is the closest shade to what I would wear on a daily basis. Yet, it looked too mauvy and greyish on my mouth, with a lot of pastel in it.

It did no work in brightening my complexion, instead, it made me look sick with my yellow undertone.

I would like to get the bright pink as it may suit me better, but it seemed overly bright to wear, especially because this is a hard core opaque liquid lipstick

The formula was SURPRISINGLY interesting. It is very ultra longlasting even through meals, but it may be quite annoying for people who hate sticky lips. My issue is not about the feeling, but about my food sauce sticking on it, and I cant even wipe off the lipstick, because it is so longlasting. For example, when there are some back sauce sticking to my mouth, it is a little bit hard to remove the color of the sauce from this lipstick

Overall, I would only wear this lipstick for occasions where I need to wear a lipstick for long hours.

Catrice & Essence Massive HAUL Buy 1 Get 1 free!

Hi Beautiful!

Recently there was a big haul at GUARDIAN stores selling Catrice and Essence products!

Last month it was still 30% off for each of the red tagged items! This month it was buy 1 get 1 free!!!

Please hurry down to guardian and Watsons to get the remaining stocks before the Buy 1 get 1 free deal is over! Since i just got them not too long ago, i will do a full review on them when I use them!

My greatest effort was in finding the Matt 12 hour powder from Catrice, as the deal was so good, each going for $6.50, and now with buy 1 get 1 free, its only going at half the price now. The only shade for the Matt powder that has this deal is shade 015. I went to 8 guardian stores and finally found them and grabbed them all!

See you in another blog post! Please grab them now before the discounts are gone! They will be releasing new products soon and these will be wiped out probably by this week

Bye for now!

SHOP MISS A HAUL REVIEW (Overview)!

Hi Beauties!
My SHOP MISS A haul has arrived to me! I live in Singapore and it took them 2weeks + 1 day to reach me. I bought about 30 items, total cost was 30.55+ 9.95= 40.50 USD. One of the item cost USD$1.55 because part of the money was donation to Animals, their new initiative.

I have taken some close up pictures of all my items , but some are still left in the wrapper as I do not intend to use them yet! So here comes the close ups and overview!

Let me first start with Shop MISS A's homebrand : AOA cosmetics
AOA baked eyeshadows in Creasmsicle and Rose
These eyeshadows are shimmery and reminded me of my UBUB eyeshadows. I love these colours, I cant wait to use and review for you!
AOA perfect setting powder in Brightening and Banana
From what I heard, the banana colour may be a dark colour, I hope its not too dark for me though! Use a light hand please!
AOA wonder Brow Promade- Caramel
The Brow promade still in the wrapper, I have not opened it and plan to open it only a few months later. Don't worry, when i use it i will review it here too!
AOA Perfect Eyeshadow Primer-Nude
These eyeshadow primers are creamy and easy to blend
AOA wonder Skin- Poreless Primer
Contrary to what most influencers say, I cant detect any glitters in this poreless primer
AOA perfect BB cream- Fair

AOA wonder Baked Highlighter-Fairy

AOA diamond lipgloss-GRL PWR

AOA Super Soft Wonder Blender and Wonder Blender Holder (Sold separately)
The AOA wonder blender costs USD$1.55, the item that is part of the PAW PAW donation initiative. The wonder blender holder costs $1. I love the beauty blender because it is so soft! The image here shows the beauty blender in its dry form. The beauty blender holder is so useful! Now I no longer have to put my dirty blender on my table anymore! I don't like to stain my other things or have it rolling around.

Now, lets move on to Santee cosmetics products
Santee Twin Matte Eyeshadow Duo-Color 1
I got this because I thought a yellow eyeshadow will look good as a transition shade. This looks too light though, we'll see!
Santee Flawless liquid foundation-Creamy Beige
Had wanted to buy the fairest shade but it was all sold out! This is the 2nd shade in line. Since it was sold out so fast, it must be good eh?

Now let's move on to LA colors cosmetics
L.A Colors-Eye Shadow Pot-Champagne

L.A.-Colors Chunky Lip Pencil-Terra Cotta

L.A Colors- Mascara- Black Brown

Now on to Amuse cosmetics!
Amuse Lusture Metal Eyeshadow Palette

Amuze diamond glosses and longlasting liquid lipstick

Now on to Elf Cosmetics!
Elf Essential lipstick-Nostalgic, Elf Essential luscious lipstick-Ruby Slipper
One is a stick lipstick and the other is a squeeze lipstick with sponge applicator at one end

Now on to Starry Cosmetics!
Triple mineral blush sets-color 2

Lastly, Princessa Cosmetics!
Princessa 8 color eyeshadow set- #5
This Princessa shadow name comes surprisingly odd to me as each set only contains 4 colors. I chose the one with a wash of brown, purple, olive green and cream color. Sounds quite usable to me.

All in all, I am super excited to try out these products! The cheapest deal I have found so far (apart from some random items from Aliexpress). These are technically FDA approved, which is considered safe as compared to Ebay or Aliexpress makeup. What's more, everything is 1 dollar only! So you can't go wrong with the price. Look out for the PAW PAW charity and A2O labelled items, those are not USD $1. I definitely will try these products out and show you some looks and maybe do up some reviews pretty soon! Hope you can give me some time to test them out :) Meanwhile, I will still do some reviews of products I have been using so far and show you in swatches and reviews.

Thanks for reading! See you soon!

Essence Pure NUDE Makeup foundation REVIEW + SWATCHES

Essence Pure Nude Make-Up foundation
Dear Beauties,
I have just recently opened my Essence Pure Nude make-up after keeping it for 2 years! I really like this foundation! It is not only natural looking, i find it very long lasting! It took me about 6 hours of wear before i see any oilyness in my skin! Most of my other foundations start to break apart with my oils within about 3 hours. This is a major breakthrough! The only con is that it is quite a light coverage, takes me about 2 layers to be medium coverage.

Very liquidy  consistency

It is definitely buildable and very easy to blend out! I really think this colour is a good match to me, although I typically use porcelain or light ivory colours-- This is all thanks to its natural sheer coverage that helps me wear it nicely even though it was quite dark for my skin tone.

I really love it soooo much! I think they discontinued this series, and replaced it with the "18 hour wear foundation", the one with a similar tube packaging as this! Yes! I believe it is really a 18 hour wear even for this PURE NUDE one as I once tried wearing it from 8am to 10pm which is already 14 hours! Its a fantastic foundation. If indeed it is the same as the "18 hour" one, please go grab it!

It leaves a slight tacky feeling after put on, do powder it a bit before heading out!
