Essence Winter Glow cushion powder lipstick

Hi Beauties! 

Here is the first review on today's loot at their warehouse sale!

It is their old limited edition WINTER GLOW cushion powder lipstick. I have a vague memory of swatching it at Guardian long time ago and not buying despite very drawn to the colours. I just think that its powdery and may go into my throat haha.

Today, seeing that the sale is 3 for $1, i knew it was a great chance for me to get it finally. See some pictures below before I describe further about this product!

I bought 4 of them, 2 of each colour : 01 Melt my lips ; 02 Winter kissed

The cute Essence duck was a free gift from today's sale!

 The picture above shows how the product inside looks like, it looks to me like a compressed lipstick. The sponge side has a spring to bounce the sponge up and down inside the cap to tap more product.

 My thoughts of the product: I think the product feels like nothing on my lips. Since my lips are soooo dry, it cannot really stick on my lips. I took about 10 swipes to get it on my lips. In other words, if your lips are really dry, you may really need a lip primer or you need some foundation on your mouth to get more of the product to stick better.

The good side is: it feels powdery, my hair doesn't stick to my lipstick at all which is awesome!!!

On the other hand, it sticks soooo well to my skin!!!! It only took one swipe to get it to stick onto my skin. Not sure why so, maybe because skin has more oils and moisture than my chapped lips?

Also, after rubbing hard and bathing, it still stayed so prominently on my hands! Check out the picture below:

I don't regret getting this product, I believe it will work better on my lips when i have less chapped lips!

3 for $1 Massive Essence and Catrice cosmetics sale!

Hi beauties!

I'm soooooo excited to let all of you know of the sales because its between 30th Oct to 3rd Nov and I want you all to get the goodies as fast as you can!

I have looted quite a few items today, not as much as I would have expected because i already have almost all the products there

The lowest priced items are at 3 for $1 while the highest priced was $8. As you can see, most of these products are super affordable! I have looted 19 items and the rest are free gifts, picture shown below

I bought 18 of the 3 for $1 while 1 of the $1 each item. This is the biggest sale I have been to. Do good to them, they do good to you. This is a blessing i have got from being such a big fan for Cosnova over these 7 years! In another post later i have a review on the first product of this loot. Apologies on delay over past loots, i have not reviewed them because i have not opened them lols. This one is way too exciting not to open immediately. 

I want to put up a disclaimer: Some of the make up have expiry dates thats very close. However, most of the manufacturing dates are in year 2017 so its fine.

I love their brand so much and I hope you found this post useful!

Essence Liquid Lipsticks Reviews + Swatches!!!

Hi Beauties!!! I'm glad you are back here! Now I'm going to share with you some Essence Liquid Lipstick reviews and Swatches! I've bought these last year around May. I love these liquid lipsticks, here i'm gonna tell you why.

First of all, I noticed it is so much like the NYX Butter lipglosses! The smell and the texture is almost 97% alike. Best of all, these are way cheaper, about 2 to 2.5 times cheaper than what NYX butter lipglosses retail for in Singapore! Its such a bargain for such a similar product! Each of these liquid lipsticks have 4ml in them. And of course, they are not the same as what the market would call a liquid lipsticks. These are actually Glosses!

I find them pigmented, slightly thick and long lasting! I love the shine it gives and the density of the lip gloss makes me feel so luxurious. The only negativity is that, like what I've mentioned in some other reviews, is that they do bunch the slightest inside the corners of my mouth after hours of wear time. I won't be harsh on them for this because this happens for ALL other lipsticks in the market too.

I hope you'd give them a try too! They are really affordable and good quality for the price!

Essence LONGLASTING LIPSTICKS Reviews + Swatches!!!

Hi Beauties! I'm back with more Essence lipsticks reviews! I'm sure most girls love lipsticks don't we? I have so many Essence lipsticks collected over 2 years, I think its time I do a small review and SWATCHES for you girls! I'm sorry if I did not include any plum because I hardly wear plum colours, and at that point in time when I am purchasing them, they ran out of some colours already. These are what I currently have in my collection. Note: I have duplicate of colour number 13, as I love it so so much, I went to get a backup before they discontinued the colour in Singapore ( Which they did this year ). Here is what I've got:

Sorry for some messy swatches, the darker colours are a bit hard to apply haha. As you can see, colour 03 and 12 looks like it has been manipulated, and Yes indeed, I have cut some of it away to make my blend of lipstick colour. But number 07 looks really tiny because I have USED it so much that it has become so small. Its the first colour of the range that I bought. At that point in time i just wanted to try out lipsticks to find the best colour for me. 

Anyway, back to the review :)

I LOVE this range even more than the Creamy lipsticks range because these are so glossy on the lips (Atleast for the first 2 hours). They are also quite long lasting, it lasted me about 5 hours before it began to fade. Most of all, I love the colours they have in here! They are also very pigmented and there is also a level of permeability that it does not make me look all caked up with makeup. I always love a hint of translucency in my lipsticks as I feel I look younger with such lipsticks.

A little negative thing which is applicable to most, if not all lipsticks are that they do bunch up (inside the lips) a very slight bit after many hours of wear. I wont deduct my rating on this aspect because i noticed this element in ALL other lipsticks in ALL other brands that I've tried. 

Overall rating: 5/5 (LOVE THEM!)

Price: SGD $4.90 at Watsons and Guardian ( You just can't beat the price for the quality )
