VITAMIN C REVIEW:)

Nutrillite BIO C PLUS

I have been eating supplements especially this BIO C  from NUTRILLITE Amway for a few years already and I can proudly say that it not only did not have any side effects it really improved my immunity. This is because all the ingredients used for the supplements are 100% plant based and organic. I have not been sick for a long long time to be honest and when i was back in school, for 3 years not a single day i was absent.:)

PROS: Very affordable compared to other health supplements in the market
           organic and plant based with acerola cherry concentrate
           certified to be safe for consumption
           no side effects
           keep my immunity level high
CONS: may be hard to swallow for some people, perhaps gel form would be better

ARTISTRY ESSENTIALS Series

Artistry Essential Balancing system

Generally this set consist of cleanser,toner and a moisturiser. The Essentials Balancing system is targeted at youthful skin that tends to produce excess oil and hence needs to a skincare system that can control the oil production and at the same time not overdrying to the skin. I find the toner most interesting as there is the powder-like substance that submerge at the bottom of the bottle and everytime before I use it i will shake it to make the solution even before wetting my cotton pad with the toner haha. The powder-like substance is very effective in controlling oil production.

Artistry Essentials hydrating cleanser

I would like to say that this is not my favourite cleanser as I prefer foamy cleansers much more. This cleanser does not give me the satisfaction of a 'cleansed' skin as what a foamy cleanser can give.

PROS: Artistry Essentials series is very affordable

            suitable for most skin types

            gentle to skin

CONS; The cleansers are not foamy

Rejuvalash eyelash growth serum

The first eyelash serum- Rejuvalash. This product is a trial version and hence it was practically free, I only have to pay for the shipping costs. However, the website itself is a scam!The deducted an addtional $132 from my account on top of the delivery charges of the free tube! I had to go to the bank to file a report before I got my money back. Nonetheless this is an OKAY eyelash serum as it does not have any side effects even though the eyelash growth effect was only minimal. However I decided to repurchase as this is the ONLY product so far that did not caused any side effects to my eyes even though it stings my eyes alot.

PROS: No side effect

CONS: eyelash growth effect minimal

             very strong stinging to eyes

             the website anyhow cut additional $132 from my bank account

LILASH

The second eyelash serum-This is by far the most EXPENSIVE eyelash growth serum I ever tried. It  costs $180 for such a small tube that barely lasted me for 3 months!! Despite their claims that it will last for 6 months. Moreover I had SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS from using this product. I had SEVERE DARK EYE CIRCLES. However, it gave me slight improvement in the length and volume of my lashes and gave a little curl to the lashes. In conclusion, this si a very very BAD eyelash serum and the side effects is much more prominent than the positive effects.

PROS: slight increase in volume, length and curl

CONS:TOO PRICEY

            very severe side effects dark eye circles

            volume does not last for 6 months as claimed

            eyelash growth only minimal

            more CONS than PROS, never buying it again

RAPIDLASH

The third eyelash serum- RAPIDLASH. This eyelash serum is half price of the LILASH even though it retails at an even much lower price if bought directly in USA itself. This eyelash serum also gave me serious dark eye circles like LILASH. The eyelash growth effects are also minimal. However I did repurchase the eyelash serum as I feel safer with some serum put on my eyelash rather than having none >< Right now I still trying to find one that can give me results and dont cause any side effects.

PROS: cheaper than  LILASH

            slight improvement in length

CONS:very severe side effects dark eye circles

            eyelash growth only minimal

            more CONS than PROS, never buying it again

GLISTER MOUTH REFRESHER SPRAY REVIEW :)

GLISTER MINT REFRESHER SPRAY

What I find most interesting about this mouth spray is that it is multi-fucntional. After researching and trying out myself, here are the amazing functions I have discovered.- as a mouth refresher, spraying on ulcer helps it to heal super fast, if you fall down or got a burn spray on the wound as an antiseptic which also prevents leaving behind scars, as a spray to reduce itchiness, as well as prevents tooth decay.

 

I also LOVE the super cute bottle which I carry in my handbag EVERYWHERE:D I am very self conscious especially when I talk to guys so I definitely must spray this!! HAHA

 

 

PROS: Multifunctional!!(as listed above)

This Youth Extend and Youth Extend Ultra series is purchased for my mum because they are scientifically formulated for mature skin and my mum totally adores this skincare line.:) Basically the Youth Extend Ultra is an improved version of the Youth Extend series in that it has very good lifting properties added to it.

Artistry Youth Extend Softening lotion

The first product- Youth Extend softening lotion. Honestly speaking, all the toners in Artistry are very good. I love them all, so I cannot tell you what is the best toner. This toner here is from the Youth Extend series, targetted at people 25 years old and above to prevent or reverse the signs of ageing. The lotion is a translucent milky liquid and it smells heavenly <3 The smell is not too strong either. One bottle can last me for 14 months! Anyway, it helps me in the absorption of the other skincare products that is to be applied after that:)



Artistry Youth Extend Ultra Face lifting Essence Concentrate

 The second product-Youth Extend Ultra Face Lifting essence concentrate. This product is specially formulated for mature skin, my mum uses it as part of her daily routine.First of all what I like about this product is that it is scientifically formulated with an exclusive Norwegian Red Caviar concentrate, which makes the skin lifted and firmer, and the best part is there is a slight pinkish tint to the serum which makes the skin looks rosy and naturally radiant:)

The 3rd and 4th product I would like to share is the Artistry Youth Extend Ultra lifting eye serum concentrate and Artistry Youth Extend enriching eye cream. Both products works well together in diminishing the appearance of fine line and lifting up saggy eye bags. First put the eye serum and end off with the eye cream. My mum LOVE IT LOTS!<3

 

 

PROS: Most cost-effective range of products for aged skin

            effectively lifts skin and firms it giving a more radiant appearance

            very hydrating for calming the wrinkles

            love the smell and texture as well as the color consistency

            super professional packaging

            affordable for all (Artistry CREME LUXURY series is a more expensive range)

            suitable for anyone aged 25 and above

 

CONS: Youth Extend ultra does not have full range, hence have to mix with some products from Youth Extend series.

This was the first Ideal Radiance skincare system I bought,which is the normal to dry skin range, later on in pics below I show you the normal to oily skin range. I find this skincare range quite reasonably priced that's why I decided to give it a try and since I had good experience with the Pure White series(the older whitening series from Artistry). The product I loved most from this system is nonetheless the cleanser!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it because it smells super HEAVENLY and the foam is sooo wonderful love everything about this cleanser I cant stop using it!!! The toner was okay, but the moisturise cream was too oily for my skin type, so i gave it to my mum to use.

Thankfully, I went to get the moisturiser suitable for my normal to oily skin range. Because I still in my early 20s, that's why I still having some oily skin here and there and this moisturiser works PERFECTLY :)  Not forgetting the most powerful product for this series is the Ideal Radiance series--> Ideal Radiance illuminating essence!! I LOVE this product so much!! because it does what it claims, I gotten fairer within 2 weeks and my skin tone is now more even OMG. This is really my saviour <3

Basically, I want to show you all the whole Ideal Radiance skincare system I am using right now. Start with the cleanser, toner, essence and finally the mosituriser. I love this skincare system the most right now! <3

 

PROS: easy to use, very nice smell and textures

            smooth application

           very reasonably priced for a whitening system

           effectively improves my skin complexion, hydration and fairness

           product lasts a long long time, there is alot of product inside

           light weight formula, not heavy on the skin at all

           BEST product in this series is the cleanser and essence (MUST TRY)

CONS: smell a little too strong for the moisturiser, but the smell is floral and nice

Artistry Ideal Radiance UV Protect SPF50+,PA++++

Do anyone remember one of the older post last week? I mentioned the PURE WHITE UV protect sunscreen, that was the older version. Like I mentioned, Ideal Radiance is the new and improved version of  Pure White series:) I totally love love love the sunscreen, I really dont know how many time must I say this HAHA!



This sunscreen is very liquid and it does on so smoothly on my skin without clogging pores unlike those cream type of sunscreens. Moreover, this sunscreen is not oily at all, gives me a MATT FINISH! omg, never had a sunscreen that works like this for me before. I usually purchase 3 in one go because it always run out of stock! im serious.

PROS: liquid,easy to go on skin

            non oily, and gives my skin a matt finish

            high SPF to protect against the blazing sun in Singapore

            price is reasonable for such a good sunscreen

            the dispenser is hygienic

CONS: hoped the packaging could have been larger! so that more product :P

The first product I will be talking about is the Artistry Intensive Skincare 14 nights restore programme.

I bought this Artistry 14 nights restore programme for my mum for her birthday early this year. And at that time, just nice she was getting prepared to go for her friend's child wedding which was approaching in one month's time. After my mum used the first tube in the first night, she was still not convinced...even up till the third tube. However , in the morning on the 4th day, she was doing her morning skincare routine when she viewed her skin under the bright light, she realised the wrinkles on her forehead has greatly diminished which she was amazed by. HAHA, at first my mum still scolded me for spending money on such treatments, but in the end she thanked me for it HAHAHA.

The packaging is also fabulous, it comes in 14 little vials with pump dispenser. This is extremely hygienic and after opening the tube, if you are unable to finish the whole tube in 1 day, is okay because you can keep in the fridge to keep it fresh!! The purpose of separating into 14 little vials is so to keep the ingredients FRESH and EFFECTIVE :D

 

PROS: very effective in erasing wrinkles,improve hydration,increase skin smoothness and                  

             improving complexion as claimed

            good packaging - very hygienic and helps to keep ingredients fresh

            only have to do one set of treatment once every 3 months(cost effective)

 

CONS: Abit pricey, but when u compare with other high quality brands, this is really not expensive   

             and is as effective as professional laser treatments

Artistry Intensive Skincare renewing peel

I don't know if anyone would like to believe me that this product is my most important MAGIC POTION. I use it twice weekly and the results have proved to be amazing. My friends told me that the HOLES on my face are becoming less deep. This HOLES and SCARS were created when i was in my teens, I used to have very severe acne and the pimples burst, resulting in scars. BUT thankfully I found this product in Artistry helped me alot. It can also be used for matured skin whereby dead skin cells are harder to shed due to the slower renewing process in aged skin. Everybody in my family uses it regardless of age- YOUNG OR OLD.

 

After putting on cleansed face for 8 to 10 mins, I rinse off and proceed with toner and moisturiser. EVERYTIME after I do the renewing peel facial, my skin feels smooth like baby's bottom and Im NOT KIDDING. You should try it for yourself really, otherwise you wouldn't understand what Im saying haha!

 

One more thing that impresses me is that the technology uses a mushroom enzyme which allows the renewing process to stop when they reach a certain pH, hence no risk of under peeling or over-peeling. I would like to share a story with you, I had a friend who bought a  2-step peel set from one of the local drugstores. First the acidic solution was placed on the skin for a few mins and then she must put th alkali solution to neutralise and stop the peeling process, but u know what happened? she fell asleep forgetting to put the alkali solution, her skin was gone for good, now my friend suffers from very very sensitive skin:(

 

But for Artistry Intensive skincare renewing peel, I am not afraid of falling asleep because i know it will stop when it reaches a certain pH. There are many time which I fell asleep till morning no joke:)

 

PROS: extremely easy to use and very very SAFE

            skin feels softer and better textured just after one treatment(no joke)

           uses NATURAL mushroom enzyme that knows when to stop the process

           ONE-STEP application

           effectively reduces wrinkles and fine lines caused by dead skin build up
           cost effective(professional peel treatment at beauty clinic costs $300 per session)

ARTISTRY TIME DEFIANCE REVIEWS:)

VITAMIN C & WILD YAM TREATMENT

This treatment has been in the Artistry line for a long time, probably from the time the Time Defiance range came out haha! I use this whenever I dont put a serum, because this is also a serum by itself. How to use:Once I pour the wild yam liquid into the container containing the vitamin c crystals, I just shake the bottle to mix before placing it in the fridge to keep fresh. As we know, vitamin c tend to oxidise easily hence we have to put in the fridge to keep fresh. Recommend to finish this small bottle in one month while it is freshest.

I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. Whenever I know there is an important event coming up in about 1 month's time, I will start using this treatment because it really gives my face the beautiful GLOW and very effectively prevent wrinkles. My mum also uses it as her daily serum to reduce the signs of ageing. Results are satisfying! ;)

 

PROS: very affordable for anti-ageing serum

            love the GLOW on my face

            very easy to apply and goes on smoothly

AMWAY AIR AND WATER PURIFIER REVIEWS:)

Well, how to prove that this air purifier actually purifies the air that it says? There is always this uncle standing outside my corridoor to smoke which always flys into my house, getting on my nerves! And ever since I had this air purifier, even with the uncle smoking outside my house, it's ok because the smoke doesn't linger long before the air purifier removed it. And also, I do not have to wash my fans that often as it does not get dusty so quickly. That's how powerful it is haha!

 

 WOW RIGHT? HAHA.This machine is manufactured by Amway in USA after years and years of research, and is the price is totally reasonable, compared to other brands.(I reasearched ;))

 



 With all the onset of HAZE from Indonesia these days. we totally need an air purifier in our homes these days.

PROS: reasonably priced
            removes haze effectively
            improves the health of my family
            extremely easy to install and operate
            energy saver certified

CONS: many people are still skeptical about this machine because they do not fully understand the technology/never tried before

eSpring water treatment system

Well, I believe the claims and benefits can be searched online, so I shall just tell you about my experience haha...

First of all, I have tested tap water with chlorine tester and tested eSpring water with the chlorine tester as well, only the tap water turned green, this showed that tap water contains chlorine but eSpring water does not. I researched online and found that upon boiling, chlorine turns to trichloromethane which is harmful to humans if excessive. There is also a breakthrough in teachnology in that there is UV light in the middle to kill all bacteria and the carbon filter removes impurities However, removing impurities doesn't mean removing the essential salts and minerals in it, and that is GOOD WATER:)

I really can taste the difference in the water and I go to the toilet more frequent(detox) ever since haha! Now my whole family is finally drinking eSpring water and uses the water to cook too!

PROS: reasonably priced, comparable to other brands of water purifiers
            removes chlorine and impurities effectively, while leaving in essential salts and minerals
            improves the health of my family
            extremely easy to install and operate
            Energy saver certified

            the NEW GENERATION of eSpring incorporates the UV and the filter ALL-IN-ONE

Honestly speaking, the mooncakes from Amway is super delicious. Not too sweet and the best part was free delivery to my doorstep. There are also many flavours to choose from and they taste phenomenal. I must say it taste like RESTAURANT-CLASS MOONCAKES. For half the price? why not!? I will definitely order more mooncakes from Amway next year for sure.

AMWAY BODY SERIES, GLISTER products

The first product- G&H body shampoo, I totally love this product because it can act as both a shampoo and a body cleanser. I always purchase this whenever I go travelling because it saves me the trouble and luggage space from buying a shampoo and body soap separately. I fact, I can even use it as a liquid hand soap!! And BEST OF ALL, I am in love with the smell!! so HEAVENLY. The main ingredients to this is honey glycerin, which we all know are natural humectant, keeps the skin moisturised all day. LOVE THIS PRODUCT LOTS! <33

PROS: Lathery

            smells heavenly, always a pleasure to bathe

            rinses off easily

            ALL-IN-ONE-- very convenient for travel

            very very affordable

CONS: although function as shampoo, but have to use hair conditioner separately

Glister multiaction fluoride toothpaste

 

I love this toothpaste because it is a CLAY-BASED toothpaste unlike normal toothpaste that are sand-based. The difference is that CLAY-BASED toothpaste does not have those rough beads that scrape away the enamel which is the protective layer of the teeth. Sand-based toothpaste tend to scrape off the enamel of the teeh, leaving the teeth sensitive, hence I highly recommend this toothpaste for people with sensitive teeth.

PROS: CLAY-based, similar to DENTIST TOOTHPASTE

            suitable for sensitive teeth

            the large tube is even cheaper than regular dentist toothpaste sold in NTUC

Body series G&H complexion bar

This bar soap is BY FAR MY HOLYGRAIL SOAP, because I use it everyday to bathe. The reason why I enjoy bathing is because of this soap, otherwise I refuse to bathe! Nonetheless, I can also use it for washing my face that's why it is called complexion bar. However I prefer using Artistry facial cleansers for my face instead:) This soap is almost the same as the G&H body shampoo I described above, except the fact that this is bar soap and that is liquid soap haha. I will totally buy this product for life:)

PROS: Lathery

            smells heavenly, always a pleasure to bathe

            rinses off easily

            the bar can be chopped into 3 parts, the whole bar lasts a long long time
